            The Security Department of the Charles University Rectorate provides faculties and other u

            with support and methodological guidance in implementing the security plan and in developi
            crisis management plans. It works closely with security coordinators at individual faculti
            units of the university.


            In addition, it is responsible for a range of other security-related areas, including:
            • supporting faculties and university units in crisis management

            • training in the protection of soft targets and classified information
            • incident management

            • providing methodological guidance in occupational health and safety (OHS) and fire prote
            • training for drivers and staff operating specialised equipment
