            The Security and Occupational Safety Department of Charles University provides faculties, 

            institutes and other units with support and methodological guidance in implementing securi
            creating their own crisis plans. It works closely with security coordinators at individual
            other university units.


            In addition, it is responsible for a range of other security-related areas:
            • support for faculties and other university units in crisis management

            • training in the protection of soft targets and classified information areas
            • institutional resilience against illegitimate influence (counter foreign interference)

            • methodological guidance in the areas of occupational health and safety (OHS) and fire pr
            • training for drivers and operators of specialized equipment
